Perhaps, Poland is the only country in the world where the forested areas are on the rise. Almost 30.5% of Poland is covered with forest, and thanks to the efforts of the national program of reforestation, the forested area is expected to rise up to 33% by the year 2050.

The education of children starts at the age of five or six, and on completing 6th class, they are required to take a compulsory exam to determine which secondary school they are eligible to attend. And, after completion of the 9th class, they are again tested to confirm which higher level of secondary school is best suited for them.

Wianki, which means ‘wreaths’ in English, is a tradition in Poland followed since the pre-Christian period, in honour of Slavic goddess of harvest and love.
